  • Do you offer any gluten free products?
All of the products we offer are gluten free! Gluten proteins are heavy enough that they are removed in the distillation process. In general, the only way there should be gluten present in a distilled spirit is if the brand uses post-distillation additives for flavor or color that include gluten. Six & Twenty Distillery does not use any post-distillation additives. Additionally, their grains are housed and processed in a separate facility from their bottling line, removing the potential of cross contamination. 
  • You don't ship to my state. Where can I purchase these products in store?

You can visit Six & Twenty Distillery's website to learn more about their products and find a map of retailers here. You can also visit their distillery and tasting room in Greenville, SC. 

 

  • When will my order ship?

Orders are typically processed within 1-5 business days. Orders placed after 12pm Friday thru Sunday, will not ship before Monday by end of the day.  We make every effort to package your order as quickly as possible, but we are a small team of humans who each wear multiple hats within the company and across both of our locations. 

Orders will be shipped via ground shipping only (we do not offer express shipping), and are typically delivered within one to ten business days, depending on your shipping address. The estimated shipping time displayed during checkout (1-2 business days, for example) is generated by Fedex, does not include processing time, and is not a guarantee. Once your order has package has been packed, you will receive an email with your tracking information to the email address on file.  Once packages are received by FedEx, we have no control over when they will be delivered. The most up to date information on package status can be found by entering your tracking number on the FedEx website.  You can also "manage" your delivery from that site, if you so choose.  If we are notified of an issue with a package being unable to be delivered due to damage to product, packaging, etc., we will contact the customer and create a plan to send out a replacement as soon as possible.

  • How does shipping work?

Products are shipped via common carrier by the licensee making the shipment to you. The purchase of alcohol by persons under the age of 21 is prohibited by law. We require that an adult of 21 years of age or older sign for the product upon receipt. If no adult is available to sign for the product, the product will not be delivered and the carrier will leave a door tag notifying you that a delivery was attempted. After three attempts, the package will most likely be at the nearest facility for up to 5 business days. Therefore, we strongly suggest that you have the products delivered to a work address. Please note that delivery to P.O. boxes and APO addresses is not possible. Orders placed after 12pm Friday thru Sunday, most likely will not ship before Monday by end of the day. 

PLEASE READ: 

Depending on how and where you ship, the shipping cost may only increase slightly when you add more bottles to the shipment. Our prices include the packaging and materials needed to properly ship our products. Typically after the base shipping rate for one bottle, price tends to only go up approx. $1-2/bottle.   

 

  • What if my product is damaged?

We are committed to customer satisfaction and will do everything possible to make sure your expectations are exceeded with Get Local Spirit

.In the rare event that a product arrives damaged, please contact us within 7 days from the delivery date at getlocalspirit@gmail.com and we will be happy to address any issues regarding the damaged item(s). 

When submitting a support request, please include the following information:

• Your order number

• An explanation of the issue

• A photo of the package and the contents of the package you received.

Please keep in mind we may require you to hold on to your damaged or incorrect items, in the condition you received them (including the original packaging) so that we can process a damage claim.

 

  • Can I return my order?

Please note that we do not offer returns based on taste preferences or change of heart. However, we are committed to customer satisfaction, so if you experience a problem with your order, let us know within 7 days from the delivery date at getlocalspirit@gmail.com.

  • When will (insert limited spirit here) be available again?

In short, we don’t know.  In general, a limited spirit will be bottled and sold 1-2 times per year. It all depends on when each barrel decides that it is ready. There are many factors that contribute to a spirit’s aging (visit Six & Twenty Distillery for a tour to learn about the process) and if they are to reach their fullest potential, they can’t be rushed.
